Hwael Field

Hwael Field follows the marks left by sound, landscape and memory. Through images, field notes, sequences, places and fragments, it moves across roads, stone, water, weather and cultivated ground, looking for what remains after the obvious story has passed. Some traces begin with music, others with a photograph, a route, an object or a line of text. The form changes with the material: part essay, part visual note, part listening path.
